6 Hours of Practical Learning
More practice than lecture – you play the bowls from the first hour.
The 1-Day Sound Healing TTC at Umang Yoga & Sound Healing Centre in Rishikesh is a 6-hour, practical workshop that teaches the foundations of Tibetan singing bowl healing, Nada Yoga and chakra-based sound therapy. It is open to all levels, needs no musical background, costs $59 (₹4,500) and ends with a Certificate of Completion.
If you have only one free day in Rishikesh but want a real, hands-on experience of sound healing, the 1-Day Sound Healing Teacher Training at Umang Yoga & Sound Healing Centre is designed for you. In six focused hours you move from the basic science of sound and vibration to playing authentic multi-metal Himalayan singing bowls yourself – and you leave with a simple self-healing routine you can practise anywhere in the world.
This one-day sound healing course in Rishikesh blends ancient Nada Yoga wisdom with practical, step-by-step technique. You learn how to strike and rim a singing bowl, how bowl tones relate to the seven chakras, and how to give a short, safe sound session to yourself or a partner. The day closes with a deeply relaxing group sound bath and your Certificate of Completion from Umang Yoga & Sound Healing Centre.
Classes run in intimate small batches at our peaceful centre on Virbhadra Marg, Rishikesh, so every student gets personal attention directly from founder and lead master Gaurav Mishra. It is also the perfect first step if you are considering our 3-Day, 5-Day or 7-Day Sound Healing TTC.

The day opens with Om chanting, intentions and pranayama.
A light sattvic lunch is available nearby (included only in the with-stay package).
The day closes with a group sound bath and your certificate.

All instruments are provided during the course. We train on authentic hand-hammered multi-metal Himalayan singing bowls so you learn the true sound and feel of traditional instruments. If you wish to buy your own bowls, Gaurav Mishra will guide you to choose genuine, good-quality instruments in Rishikesh.
Sound healing works on the principle of resonance: steady, harmonic tones from singing bowls and gongs help the brain slow from busy beta waves towards relaxed alpha and meditative theta states. Many people experience deep calm, relief from stress and a feeling of being re-balanced.
Sound healing is a complementary wellness practice and does not replace medical treatment.
On successful completion, you receive a Certificate of Completion from Umang Yoga & Sound Healing Centre, Rishikesh, stating the course name, duration (6 hours) and dates. Full attendance is required to receive the certificate.
